This free tool adds a sophisticated look to your screen with its three-month calendar, a triple clock showing three different time zones, and fourteen attractively designed wallpapers to choose from.
DNV Eco Calendar is, in fact, an innovative way of advertising Det Norske Veritas’ services. This Polish company provides consulting and assessment services in the areas of climate change, corporate responsibility, and quality and risk management. This free desktop tool is nothing but an original and attractive way of promoting their activities and other software products, such as the DNV Survey Simulator. Actually, the fourteen beautifully crafted wallpapers available with the Eco Calendar have been produced using that tool, and its name appears in a permanent banner placed on top of the wallpaper.
The calendar itself is purely informative – it will not allow you to add events or reminders to it. It simply shows you today’s date of the current month, together with the previous and next months. Eco Calendar allows for some customization – you can choose your preferred wallpaper, set the calendar permanently on top, and to choose when and how to show the clocks. When enabled, three clocks will appear either horizontally on the above-mentioned banner or vertically on the left side of your desktop. The main clock will show your current time zone, while the other two will show different and configurable time zones.
